Business Intelligence Interfaces
Interfaces to business intelligence tools vary. They may be:
- 2D Interfaces
- 3D Interfaces
2D Interfaces
2D interfaces include standard analytic programs such as MS Excel,
or more integrated visual tools such as dashboards.
3D Interfaces
3D have been proven to be extremely valuable when presenting large
volumes of complex data, expecially when:
- the context of the data has a 3D element, such as geographic
features
- real time anaytics of the data is required to support rapid
decision making, for example, in bond
market analysis.
